Stochastic coordination in heterogeneous load balancing systems

Current-day data centers and high-volume cloud services employ a broad set of heterogeneous servers. In such settings, client requests typically arrive at multiple entry points, dispatching them to servers is an urgent distributed systems problem. This paper presents efficient solution the load balancing problem in that improves on overcomes problems previous solutions. The formulated as stochastic optimization problem, algorithmic obtained based subtle mathematical analysis Finally, extensive evaluation simulated shows it outperforms Moreover, resulting policy can be computed very efficiently, making practically viable.
